- Beginners to Advanced.
- The first lesson is devoted to a grammatical structure, based on
the coursebook and audio and videocassettes. The second lesson focuses
on vocabulary development. The third lesson practises social English
and conversation, emphasising the development of oral fluency and listening
skills.
INTENSIVE ENGLISH
- 9.30 - 15.30 / Monday to Friday /
- 25 hours per week

- The morning programme is the same as the Semi-Intensive course. The
afternoon involves more situational and functional language practice
and is designed to increase listening and communication skills. Authentic
material is used in communication activities, information exchange,
role-play, cross-culture and language games. Newspaper and magazine
articles, radio and video TV news provide themes for discussion and
written work.
Combination Courses
GROUP PLUS ONE-TO-ONE TUITION

- Beginners to Advanced.
- The morning course is the same as the Semi-Intensive

afternoon offering the participant the opportunity to focus on their
own specific needs, such as English for Specific Purposes (ESP), exam
technique or particular grammar points.

COFFEE BREAKS AT RLT
During
the 20 minute morning coffee break, students have the opportunity to
socialise with other students from around the world, teachers and other
staff members, enjoy free coffee, tea, cake and biscuits and improve
their social skills in English. The coffee break is an integral
part of the course where teachers and students are encouraged to
actively interact with each other and discuss exciting topics such as
current international news items and topics of cultural interest
including English customs and traditions. Students also have the
opportunity of catching up on their emails with the use of free
internet access.
WEDNESDAY MORNING LESSONS
All morning classes finish fifteen minutes earlier on Wednesdays
for the weekly teachers' meeting to discuss ways of teaching, student
welfare and other academic matters.
"A lot of brilliant expression to colour my language; understanding the way British people speak." (Tatiana Chernova, 47, Russia)
